Hey!!! Sot of an off-topic post for an anime blog, but sure! Today I’m talking about an app you can get for your iTouch / iPhone / iPad which I highly recommend for artists!! It’s called SketchBook. You can also get this app for your computer, but what makes it really special on iTouch, is that you use your finger to draw. Not your mouse, your finger. That’s right.
See, I just bought this for my iPad a few days ago and I’m loving it! It sounds hard at first – drawing by touch – but it’s quite easy actually. If you have an iPad you can buy SketchBook Pro for $7.99, but if you have an iTouch you can buy SketchBook Mobile for $0.99.
I don’t have SketchBook Mobile, so I can’t tell you much about it – but I know for a fact that SketchBook Pro is made of win. It’s so easy to use – you can use 3 finger touch to access the main menu, where you can change brushes, the colour, the opacity, the layer your on, symmetry, etc, etc, etc. You can also pan in and out which makes it easy to draw those tiny spots in.
Since it’s on the iPad, it’s very easy to see what you’re doing and the graphics are very good! Unfortunately, I’m not very good at using this software. Yet. But some of the art is very amazing that you can make on there! It’s totally worth the money.
