Happy New Year!

Happy new year! Well, it’s the new year here in the part of the world I live in. 2010! Woo! I’m not gonna get used to 2010. Okay, I’m gonna start posting every Naruto characters birthday, and give them a little congrats. Starting TODAY!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY….

GAI SENSEI!! Yup, today is Guy(or Gai) sensei’s birthday! Congrats Gai! How old are ya now? 30? 31? I dunno but. Lets give him a round of applause. Yay! I’m not sure what would happen to Lee without you, Guy. Maybe he’d be more… normal? Shall i put it? (No offense to Lee fans) I wonder what he’d like for a birthday gift? Curry? Free haircuts? A chance to beat Kakashi? But anyways… Happy birthday again Guy-sensei!

How to make Miso Ramen!

Hello! As the title says, how to make Miso Ramen!! Mm… Raaamen…. So, i haven’t tried it yet, but I found the recipe on a website. Here goes!

Miso Ramen for 2 Ninja’s

Some of the ingredients may not be at your local grocer, so try an Asian or Japanese grocery store.

SOUP -  

• 4 litres of water
• 2 kilograms of raw chicken or pork bones
• diced ginger, to taste
• random greens (bok choy, Chinese cabbage, spring onion tops)
• 1 tablespoon of salt

BASE –

• 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
• 1 teaspoon of sesame seed oil
• 1-2 cloves of minced garlic
• 50 milimeters of miso paste
• 25 milimeters of soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon of liquid vegetable/ beef concentrate
• chili oil, or sambal olec, or dried chili peppers to taste

NOODLES -

You have to be really adamant on this one, try your best not to substitute fresh noodles for dry instant noodle blocks. Fresh noodles will always taste better, the quality is very noticeable, but hey you’re the one cooking it so its your choice.

• 2 servings of fresh ramen noodles ( If you have a pasta maker, and want to make homemade noodles use 1 cup flour, 1 egg, and some water)
• salted boiling water to cook the noodles
• hot water to rinse the noodles
• cook noodles to time stated on the package ( for fresh noodles, 3 mins)

TOPPINGS -

Add as much as you want!

• sliced cooked pork
• 1/10″ slices of kamaboko fishcake (Naruto kamaboko!)
• tofu or beansprouts
• wakame seaweed
• sliced green onions
• sliced shitake mushrooms

PROCEDURE -

1. Take 2 servings of ramen noodles and boil them accordingly to the packaging. If you made your own noodles or bought fresh ones and if there are no instructions, boil them for 3 minutes in salted water. Rinse in a drainer with hot water and divide it into two bowls. Nicer bowls make the food look better!
2. Pour 4 litres of water into a pot. Filtered or not, it’s up to you. Toss in 2 kilograms of raw chicken and/or pork bones, which add a good amount of flavor to the broth. Throw in the tablespoon of salt, diced ginger, and the veggies.
3. Notch up the heat to a comfortable boiling temperature. Remember, the longer you boil, the more flavor you can pull out of those bones!
4. Take all the ‘base’ ingredients and toss them into the pot. Continue to let it boil so all the flavors can blend together.
5. Now, remove the bones and trash them. This is very important. I don’t really see how anyone could forget to take out the bones, I mean, who wants BONES floating around in their soup? I for one do not.
6. Pour the ’soup base’ mixture on top of the noodles, then carefully place the ‘toppings’ wherever looks best. The presentation of ramen is an art! Aesthetics can go a long way and even make the food taste better, some how.

Out of curiosity, does anyone out there not like Gaara?

Because like, everyone likes Gaara. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like him. I mean even if you go on Naruto Forums, out of curiosity I searched “Anti-Gaara Fanclub” and there wasn’t even one. And if someone did make one, I bet no-one would join it! Don’t get me wrong, I like Gaara (4th favorite character) but is there anyone out there who actually doesn’t?

So much people like Sasuke in Naruto that it’s really making me sick. And why do they? I mean he’s not even that much more attractive then the other guys anyways! And he’s mean to all of the girls! Yeah, I’m sorry if you like him but he’s such a snub! And excuse me, but I’m going to make a list of all the girl’s who showed traces of liking him.

Sasori’s Kankuro’s puppet? WHAT?!

So as you should know if you watch Naruto regularly or read the manga that there’s this guy named Sasori

^^^(This dude if your bad with names)^^^

and he’s half puppet. So as you should ALSO know is that he got killed by Chiyo and Sakura. And that  also that the only living part of him is that heart canister in his chest. So if you removed his heart canister he would just be a normal puppet, right? Yes. So at first I didn’t believe it, but then I looked on Narutopedia (Click HERE and see for yourself) and apparently it’s true. And this is it.

SASORI IS NOW KANKURO’S PUPPET.

Yeah, so apparently Kankuro took Sasori’s lifeless puppet body and modified it. Creepy, yeah. Look…
